Poste is the innovative online service that allows you to send Telegrams, Registered Letters with Return Receipt, Standard Mail, and Priority Mail throughout Italy in just a few seconds via Poste Italiane. Using the Poste App, you can send your correspondence from the office, home, or wherever you are. Please note that you cannot book SPID with the app.

The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All shipments made through the App will be received by the recipient in paper format, just like any telegram or registered letter sent from a physical Post Office.

All services include:

• Printing in black and white on A4 paper.
• Folding and enveloping.
• Postage according to current legal standards.
• Delivery to the recipient.
• If applicable, completion of the return card with the sender's details (for Registered Letters with Return Receipt).

You can compose your message by typing directly from the editor or by uploading PDF or image files (except for the telegram service).

With the Poste app, you can schedule your shipments, check costs and content before sending, ensuring error-free delivery.

With Poste, you can send your correspondence without registering and pay using a Credit Card, PayPal, Bank Transfer, or Top-Up.

ADVANTAGES OF REGISTRATION

Register through a form, Facebook login, or Google login and top up your credit, receiving a 20% discount on each shipment. By registering, the Poste app enables you to track all your shipments and expenses and save the address book of senders and recipients for even faster subsequent shipments.

TRACK YOUR SHIPMENT

You can monitor your shipment directly in the app. Enter the tracking code of your registered letter or priority mail in the TRACKING section to check the delivery status.

DELIVERY TIMES

Telegrams, Registered Letters, Standard Mail, and Priority Mail sent within Italy are delivered exclusively on business days (Monday to Friday).

Registered Letter

Poste will deliver registered items according to these quality objectives:

• Delivery within 4 business days after the shipping day for 90% of shipments.
• Delivery within 6 business days after the shipping day for 98% of shipments.

If selected, the return receipt will be sent back to the sender within 5-10 business days (excluding Saturdays and holidays).

Telegram

The delivery times of telegrams depend on acceptance times:

• If accepted by 7:00 am:
  • For at least 90% of shipments: same-day delivery.
• If accepted by 12:00 pm but only for metropolitan cities:
  • For at least 90% of shipments: same-day delivery.
• If accepted after 12:00 pm:
  • For 99% of shipments: delivery on the following working day after acceptance.

In all locations included in the list of municipalities with alternate-day delivery, delivery occurs on the second working day after acceptance for 99% of shipments.

Priority Mail

Poste will deliver priority mail according to these quality objectives:

• Within 1 business day after acceptance for at least 80% of shipments.
• Within 4 business days after acceptance for at least 98% of shipments.

(*Delivery times may vary from 1 to 3 days for municipalities with alternate-day delivery.)

Standard Mail

The delivery times for Standard Mail are:

• Within 4 business days after order acceptance for 90% of shipments.
• Within 6 business days after order acceptance for 98% of shipments.

For online shipments, add the following processing times to the delivery times indicated: printing within one business day (T+1), if accepted by 2:00 pm from Monday to Friday excluding holidays.
